Itinerary
Day 1
Airport > Thissamaharama
Arrival at the Bandaranayaka International Airport. Meet and greet by the representative of Magic Asia. Transfer to your hotel in Thissamaharama for overnight stay.
Day 2
Thissamaharama
After an early breakfast proceed to Bundala National Park For a full day Game drive. Exciting for both bird watchers and those who want to spend the day surrounded by nature.
Bundala National Park: The best wetland site for bird watching and not to be missed by the shorebird enthusiast. Highlights - Golden, Greater & Lesser Sand Plovers, Marsh, Wood, Green, & Terek Sandpipers, Turnstone, Red necked Palarope, Pintail Snipe, Black tail Godwit, Greater Flamingo and Terns such as Great Crested, Lesser Crested, Caspian, Gull billed and Little Terns.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3
Thissamaharama > Yala
Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Yala and Check in at your hotel and enjoy an afternoon Safari at Yala National Park.
National Park: which is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Divided into 5 blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares of land consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks and lagoons. Two blocks are currently opened to the public. The best time to visit Yala is between February and July when the water levels of the park are quite low, bringing animals into the open. Best time to Visit is from June to September.
