Itinerary

Day 1

Airport > Kandy

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and welcomed by the representatives of Magic Asia, and transferred you to Kandy, Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Kandy > Meemure

Wake up at 5 am and proceed to Meemure wih the packed breakfast.

Meemure: A village in Sri Lanka with a population of about 400. On your way visit Mini Worlds End Mini which is an escarpment situated at the southern end of the Knuckles range. From this location, the panoramic view of the knuckles range and some of the villages situated in the foot hills of knuckles can be seen, a short but beautiful trail.

Camp at Meemure beside the Heenganga River and enjoy dinner.

Day 3

Meemure

After breakfast visit Nawarathna waterfall.

Nawarathna waterfall: Meemure has plenty of waterfalls. Among those falls, Nawarathne falls heights about 200m which makes it special.

Since the walk is about 4 hours, there will be breaks for lunch and tea. After the exploring return to the camp site for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Meemure > Kandy

After breakfast at the camp site, off for a hike in Lakegala mountain, by gaining the blessings from the historic Bhodiya. The first part of journey follows along a river. Once you reach the top of the mountain, you will get to see the east sea shore from a distance. You will also see range of flowers, birds. After about a five hour hike you will be driven to Kandy for dinner and overnight stay.
